Spain is always a good idea! So when I found affordable tickets to Malaga, I immediately booked a five-day trip in June. If you were to ask me what I would recommend doing there, I'd say the following:

There was a time when I flew to Copenhagen every weekend. Just over an hour on the plane and a small metro-ride, and you are in the center. It is a paradise for interior design enthusiasts and food lovers. In the summer you can enjoy the many terraces and in the winter the nice coffee shops. You must do this city trip at least once and that's why I'm taking you to my favorite places.

My thirty-fifth birthday was coming up and I didn't have to think twice about where I wanted to celebrate it. With a teenager of 10 years, a toddler of almost 4 years and a baby of 6 months, I just wanted a child-friendly destination that is also fun for mom and dad. Because it was my birthday, my mother and my brother and his girlfriend also went along. It was a really fun trip! Let me take you through our highlights 🫶🏽.

There was a time, a very long time ago, when Jennifer and I didn't have any kids yet, that we would occasionally go back and forth to Barcelona for a day. I know what you're thinking now, but in our defense; flying was still very cheap back then and we did everything in the context of 'yolo' (you only live once) 😂. Oh well, who wouldn't want to spend a whole day eating delicious tapas and shopping at Zara?

When we took a taxi in Singapore, I asked the driver what it's like to live there. “I don't live here,” he said. He took the bus from Kuala Lumpur for four hours to get to Singapore, and then four hours back every day, because you could earn some good money in Singapore. It all made sense after our trip to Singapore. Everything in Singapore is expensive, like you're not in Asia anymore. On the other hand, everything is very well organized and it is clean!

Just a little while before we have another little one, so we decided to go on a babymoon. We have doubted where to go; New York, Dubai or Istanbul. We chose New York and it was wonderful! We were very lucky with the weather; 14 degrees Celsius and no rain. Great weather for a city trip!
