There was a time when I flew to Copenhagen every weekend. Just over an hour on the plane and a small metro-ride, and you are in the center. It is a paradise for interior design enthusiasts and food lovers. In the summer you can enjoy the many terraces and in the winter the nice coffee shops. You must do this city trip at least once and that's why I'm taking you to my favorite places.

5x Highlights for a city trip to Copenhagen!
Tivoli Gardens 🎠
A really beautiful amusement park in the middle of the city. It is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, with gardens and it is magically illuminated at night. A Danish fairy tale 😉
Shopping 🛍️
The well-known shops can be found in Strøget street. If you like Scandinavian design, you will love the interior design stores.
And just for the mothers among us; take a look at Konges Sløjd or Mar Mar Copenhagen. These Danish brands have beautiful children's clothing.

Neighborhood Nørrebro 🎨
Vintage shopping, boutiques, lots of street art and super nice eateries. This is the nicest neighborhood in Copenhagen! If you have enough time during your city trip, Vesterbro is also definitely worth it; A trendy area with hip cafes, bars and art galleries.
Foodhall Torvehallerne 🍔
Combine your visit to Nørrebro with this food hall. I love food halls! Torvehallerne consists of two modern glass halls and an outdoor square, with more than 60 stalls. Tip: bring cash!
Nyhavn Cruise 🧜🏼♀️
Take a boat at Nyhavn and sail past the famous colored houses. You will also sail past the famous statue 'The Little Mermaid'. Don't expect too much from that, though; it's really small.
Brunch, diner & a drink 🍷
There are a few typical dishes that you must try. Smørrebrød is a slice of rye bread, topped with anything, but usually with fish as the main ingredient. You can actually find it everywhere. I would also definitely recommend stopping at a bakery for Danish pastries. The cinnamon rolls (kanelsnegle) are delicious 😋.
Drinks 🍸
Enough tips to enjoy your city trip! Make sure you bring enough cash, because Scandinavia is pricey guys 💸.
