Danish architecture and design are influential worldwide, with a minimalist style that combines functionality with aesthetics.
The Danes are generally doing well; research shows that they are the happiest population group in Europe, they have a strong economy, beautiful nature (and girls - you get no less than a year of maternity leave in Denmark!).
There was a time when I flew to Copenhagen every weekend. Just over an hour on the plane and a small metro-ride, and you are in the center. It is a paradise for interior design enthusiasts and food lovers. In the summer you can enjoy the many terraces and in the winter the nice coffee shops. You must do this city trip at least once and that's why I'm taking you to my favorite places.
