Land of pasta and pizza 🇮🇹

Italy is located in Southern Europe and you can immediately recognize it on the world map by the shape of the boot. It is a wonderful holiday destination; fantastic food, a rich history, warm culture and idyllic villages. The people are friendly, traditional and the majority of the population is Roman Catholic. In addition to the romantic sounding Italian language, the real Italian will also use body language when talking. Words that are useful to know are; Ciao (bye), Prego (please) and Grazie (thank you).

Is Milan worth visiting?

Italy might be one of my favorite countries to visit in Europe. Pasta, pizza, coffee and ice cream; I can not get enough of it. Still, I wouldn't go to Milan again. In my opinion, this modern city detracts from the authentic Italian feeling. If you can find yourself a good deal, you can certainly do it. But I think two days in Milan is enough.

Roadtrip through Tuscany: route of the most beautiful places + tips

I would definitely recommend touring through Europe by car. The trip I made with my boyfriend through Tuscany, is one of the most beautiful trips we've done together. You’ll pass the famous cities of Pisa and Florence, but along the way you'll stop in very cute villages. However, when we returned home to the Netherlands, there were a couple of traffic fines waiting for us. Let me tell you how to prevent that!
