Greece's capital is Athens and is located in the southeastern part of Europe. Surrounded by the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the country has more than 6,000 islands, about 200 of which are inhabited. Islands such as Crete, Santorini, Mykonos and Rhodes attract millions of visitors every year for their pristine beaches, picturesque villages and breathtaking sunsets. Greece is also known for its delicious Mediterranean cuisine. From olives and feta, to grilled souvlaki and moussaka; it's hard not to love Greece!
