The Czech Republic is an hour and a half flight from the Netherlands; a country with more than ten million inhabitants. The Czech Republic and Slovakia were still one country until thirteen years ago but split off into two in 1993.
In the Czech Republic you can drink a beer for less than two euros, so it is not surprising that this country has the highest beer consumption in the world! A few words that are useful to know are: Dobrý den (good day) DÄ›kuji (thank you) and Pivo (beer)
Together with my girlfriends I decided to go away for a weekend. A mom trip without kids! We chose to go to Prague; a historic city that you can easily see on foot. It was a very relaxed trip; a drink on a terrace, doing some sightseeing, and then another drink or to a Jazz club in the evening. Very relaxing - just what these moms needed.
